Each summer for one week, thirty to fifty students, all strings and all ages, arrive on a coastal farm, to be part of special gatherings of musicians. They connect with the land, hone their skills with world class teachers, and experience all that is Big Sur while learning to play and perform among the these rugged mountains. Joining Colin Cotter on the teaching roster are John Weed, Abigail Washburn, Jordan Tice, Rebecca Stout, Ruairdh Mackay,  Nick Milo, Elise Leavy, Sumaia Jackson,  Simon Chrisman, and Zachary Brown.
